At PCA we do the course forwards and backwards. Backwards was way faster. This was crazy driving. I can't even comprehend how I drove this fast. Either I'm getting good, or I was lucky. I wasn't too far off the Boxsters. I earned my 'Fastest Wichita Opponaut' crown today
Morning the course was much tougher for me. Too fast, but not fast enough. Had to shift a bunch, couldn't string together a great run. This was my best clean run, I actually beat it with the last run but it was ugly and embarrassing so it's staying on my hard drive.
I'm STILL riding the high of that afternoon run. I drove a very fast Miata twice and a Boxster S twice on the same course and I couldn't beat it, which to me means it was just damn good driving because if it wasn't surely I'd be faster in a much faster car.
